AI is already deciding who to recommend near you. Chantry finds every gap where you’re left out and closes it for you, automatically. Built for the owner who runs the business, not the agency that bills you.

Chantry was not built by an agency or a venture fund. Harry ran his own local business, watched great owners lose customers to worse ones because of how they showed up online, and could not find a single tool built for people like them.
AI search made that problem ten times harder to solve alone. So he built one.

This is the real dashboard, shown with a sample account. Your AI mention rate is measured from real AI engine queries; the visibility score blends that with your search presence.
You show up across most of the places buyers look, here’s where to push further.
Auto-updates · checked 12 hr agoWatch
Chantry tracks every competitor in your category within your area - their AI mention rate, review velocity, Google prominence, and profile activity. Your neighbourhood leaderboard updates every week so you always know who is gaining, who is slipping, and where the gaps are opening.
Find
Chantry turns the questions buyers ask AI into a ranked opportunity feed. Each gap is a query where a rival gets named and you do not, scored by real demand, how winnable it is, and how long it has been open. The biggest, most winnable gaps rise to the top.
Close
Claim a gap and Autopilot runs the whole campaign. It builds the answer page, orchestrates review asks, and fixes citation inconsistencies - sequenced in the right order and applied overnight. Safe changes go live automatically. Anything public-facing waits for your one-tap approval.
Prove
A campaign is not done until it is measured. About two weeks after the work lands, Chantry re-asks the exact query across the AI assistants we track and records the flip. You see the before and after for every gap you close, not a promise.
You run the business. You should not need an SEO degree, a long contract, or a dashboard with forty tabs. Here is how Chantry stacks up against the usual options.
| Doing it yourself | Reporting tool | Marketing agency | Chantry | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | $0 cash, 10+ hrs your time | $50 - $300 / month | $1,500 - $4,000 / month | $49 - $199 / month |
| No SEO degree required | You learn all of it | You read the charts | They keep the know-how | One screen, one button |
| Watches your competitors on AI | No | Your data only | Quarterly at best | Every week, automatically |
| Surfaces specific gaps by size | No | No | No | Ranked feed, updated weekly |
| Closes the gap, not just reports it | You do all of it | Never | Sometimes, slowly | Overnight, automatically |
| Changes land in your real page, where AI reads it | If you know how | No, it only reports | Depends on the agency | Yes, in your real page |
| Proof of every flip with a re-scan | No | No | No | Always, before and after |
| Tracks the AI assistants buyers use (Claude, Gemini and Perplexity today, ChatGPT rolling out) | No | Usually one engine | Rarely | All of them, every week |
| Weekly plain-English briefing | You write it | Generic report | Quarterly call | Every Monday morning |
| Cancel any time | Yes | Usually | 6-12 month contract | One click in Settings |

Not an agency. Not a venture fund. Chantry was built by someone who ran his own local business, watched great owners lose to worse ones online, and could not find a single tool built for people like them.

When Harry was 17, he started a window cleaning company called Squeaky T’s out of Southampton, Ontario. The work was good. The customers came back. But every time he tried to grow online, the same wall appeared. Agencies wanted $3,000 just to start. SEO firms talked in circles. The tools that existed were built for marketing teams with budgets and time, not for someone running routes between houses on a summer morning.
So the work stayed local. Spread by word of mouth. Done on foot.
He watched the same thing happen everywhere he worked. The coffee shop that had been there thirty years. The restaurant the whole neighbourhood loved. The salon where the owner knew every customer by name. Good businesses, run by real people, losing online to worse ones. Not because the work was bad, but because nobody built them a fair shot.
Good businesses, run by real people, losing to a system they did not know existed.
ChatGPT launched. Then Gemini. Then Perplexity. Buyers stopped Googling and started asking. And the local businesses that had already been invisible online became invisible in a whole new place, one most of them did not even know existed yet.
When someone asks ChatGPT for the best restaurant on their street, it names one. Usually not the best one. Usually the one with the most consistent information across the web. The one that showed up prepared for a world most owners have not caught up to yet.
That gap is what Chantry closes.
Chantry Island sits off the coast of Southampton, Ontario, a lighthouse built to guide boats safely through the night.
Harry spent summers there, working the waterfront, looking out at that light. When it came time to name the company, nothing else felt right. A lighthouse does not ask boats to find it. It just shows up, every night, in exactly the right place.
That is what Chantry does for local businesses.
Not because of a polished pitch. Because the problem is real, the people it affects are everywhere, and the solution works. That is Harry on stage at the national final, in the photo at the top of this page.
Not agencies. Not marketing teams. Not SaaS companies with dedicated growth budgets.
Chantry is built for the owner who opens at 7am and locks up at 10pm. The one who built something real in their neighbourhood and just wants the people around them to know it exists.
If that is you, you are in the right place.
Your full AI and Google visibility, your block rank, and the gaps you can win. It takes about a minute.
Run your free scan →A simple explanation of what Chantry does, how the agent works, and what you get for your money.
Eight things Chantry does for your business, in the order they happen. Each one is built to win the query that is currently going to a competitor around the corner.
Your score
Chantry runs 25 separate checks and rolls them into a single visibility score out of 100, split into how AI sees you, how Google ranks you, and how strong your wider presence is. You see the exact gaps dragging the number down, in order of impact. And you see a 90-day projection, so you know what the score becomes once the agent has been working.
AI visibility
When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini for a local business like yours, do you get named, or does a rival? Chantry asks the real questions your customers ask and records who each engine recommends. You get a mention rate for every engine, the exact questions you are missing from, and the buyer phrasing that is leaving you out.
Google visibility
AI is the new front door, but most jobs still start on Google. Chantry checks your real local ranking for the searches that bring paying work, both the map pack and the blue links underneath. You see where you sit, who is above you, and which fixable signals are keeping you off the first screen.
The Block
Every business in your category around you, ranked on one leaderboard. Chantry scores each rival on AI mentions, review velocity and Google prominence, then updates the order every week. You can see who is gaining, who is slipping, and the exact rivals AI keeps recommending instead of you.
Opportunities
Chantry turns the questions buyers ask AI into a ranked opportunity feed. Each gap is a query where a rival gets named and you do not, scored by real demand, how winnable it is, and how long it has been open. The biggest, most winnable gaps sit at the top, ready to hand to Autopilot.
Autopilot
Claim a gap and Autopilot runs the whole campaign. It builds the answer page, orchestrates review asks, and fixes citation inconsistencies, sequenced in the right order and applied overnight. Safe changes go live automatically. Public-facing ones wait for your one-tap approval, and every action is logged with a timestamp.
Proof
A campaign is not done until it is measured. About two weeks after the work lands, Chantry re-asks the exact query across the AI assistants we track and records the flip. You see the before and after for every gap you close, so the result is something you can show, not a promise.
On autopilot
Once it is set up, you do not have to drive it. Every week Chantry checks where you stand, finds the new gaps, closes what it safely can, publishes the changes, then re-scans to prove what moved, and reports back. Then it starts again. You get one plain-English email on Monday with what changed and your new score. No login needed to read it.
These are the 25 factors AI assistants and Google weigh when they decide who to recommend. Every one is scored on your first scan, then watched as your agent works, with a one-line explanation of what it actually is.

Chantry is operated by Chantry Leads Ltd ("Chantry", "we", "us"). This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We try to keep it short and in plain English.
When you sign up we ask for your business name, your email address, and a password. We also collect the business details you give us, your phone number, opening hours, service area, and the services you offer.
If you connect your Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics, we store the access tokens Google issues so we can read and (where you've enabled it) update those on your behalf. If you ask us to edit your website automatically, we store your website-builder login credentials in encrypted form so Chantry can sign in and make the changes you approve.
When you run a scan we record the website you scanned, the city you serve, and the results, including how competitors in your area appear. When Chantry runs we record what it changed and a short before/after note for your activity log. If you use our lead-capture or review-request features, we store the contact details (names, phone numbers, emails) of the leads and customers you add or that come through your site.
We do not collect payment details directly, those are handled by Stripe. We only receive a customer ID, subscription status, and the last four digits of your card.
Your data is used to provide Chantry: to run scans, score your AI visibility, edit your website and Google profile when you ask us to, and send you the weekly Monday summary email. We also use anonymised, aggregated data to improve how the scoring works (for example, average scores by industry), your business is never identifiable in that data.
We will email you operationally (scan results, weekly summaries, billing) and occasionally with product news. You can turn the product news emails off in Settings at any time. Operational emails continue until you delete your account.
When you connect Google Business Profile we use the access strictly to: (1) read your profile so we can show your current visibility and review status in your dashboard, and (2) with your approval, update your profile, including its description, opening hours, service categories, posts, and replies to reviews, to improve how you appear. We will never delete your reviews or your photos. We do not use your Google data for anything else, never share it with third parties for advertising, and never use it to train AI models. When you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, we only read your search and traffic metrics to show insights in your dashboard, read-only, never written, never shared. Google user data is handled in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We use a small set of trusted third-party processors to actually run the product: Cloudflare and Vercel (hosting/infrastructure), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic, OpenAI and Perplexity (the AI models that write content and check how AI assistants describe you), DataForSEO (search-results and AI-answer data), Google Places and Open-Meteo (business lookup and local weather/location), Google (your own profile, Search Console and analytics data), and PostHog (privacy-friendly product analytics). Each receives only the data needed for its function. Some of these providers process data in the United States or other countries; where that's the case we put appropriate contractual safeguards in place and require each provider to protect your data to a comparable standard. We never sell your data, and we never share it with a third party for advertising.
While your account is active we keep your data so the product works. If you cancel your subscription, we keep your account data so you can re-subscribe later without losing your history. If you delete your account (Settings → Danger zone), we permanently delete it and the data associated with it, including the OAuth tokens we hold for Google and any stored website credentials, straight away. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
You can:
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local privacy regulator — in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in the United States, the Federal Trade Commission or your state Attorney General. We process your data to deliver the service you signed up for, with your consent (for product-news emails and any analytics cookies), and for our legitimate business interests (keeping the service secure and improving how it works). You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.
We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in. We use no advertising cookies and we do not track you across other sites. If we enable product analytics (PostHog), it loads only after you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner, choose "Essential only" and it never loads.

These are the terms you agree to when you use Chantry. Plain English, short. If anything is unclear, email hello@chantryleads.com and we'll explain.
Chantry is a software service for local businesses. We score how visible you are to local customers and AI assistants, and we run an automated agent that, with your permission, edits your website and Google Business Profile to fix the gaps. You stay in control: you set the schedule, you approve the connections, you can pause or cancel at any time.
You must be at least 18 and have authority to enter this agreement on behalf of the business. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. One person, one account.
Authorising Chantry. When you connect a service, you appoint Chantry as Chantry to act on your behalf on that service, for example, to publish content to your Google Business Profile and to sign in to your website builder (using login details you provide, which we store in encrypted form) to make the changes you approve. You confirm you have the right to grant that access, and you remain responsible for the content you ask Chantry to publish. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the service or deleting your account.
Free trial. New accounts may start with a free trial (currently 7 days). A payment card is required to begin the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly plan at the then-current price shown at sign-up, and your card is charged. You can cancel at any time during the trial from Settings → Billing for no charge. This does not affect any cancellation or refund rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your province or state.
After any trial, plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and won't renew. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months, but if something has gone genuinely wrong, email us and we'll make it right.
Chantry edits content (copy, schema, FAQ blocks, Google profile posts). It will not change your design, delete pages, change pricing, or post negative content. Every change is logged in your activity feed. You can revert any change by emailing support, we keep before/after snapshots for 90 days.
Because Chantry works with third-party platforms (WordPress, Google, etc.), we cannot guarantee 100% success on every edit. When a change fails we tell you and either retry, or hand you the snippet to paste yourself.
Don't use Chantry to misrepresent a business you don't own, to publish misleading or illegal content, to reverse-engineer or resell the service, or to attempt to break it. We can suspend accounts that do.
Chantry is provided "as is". We do not guarantee specific rankings, lead volumes, or revenue outcomes, those depend on many factors outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
