Terms of service.

Last updated 24 May 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you use Chantry. Plain English, short. If anything is unclear, email hello@chantryleads.com and we'll explain.

What Chantry does

Chantry is a software service for trade businesses. We score how visible you are to local customers and AI assistants, and we run an automated agent that — with your permission — edits your website and Google Business Profile to fix the gaps. You stay in control: you set the schedule, you approve the connections, you can pause or cancel at any time.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. One person, one account. If you let the agent connect to your website or Google profile, you confirm that you have the right to grant that access.

Plans, billing, refunds

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings — your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and won't renew. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months, but if something has gone genuinely wrong, email us and we'll make it right.

What the agent will and won't do

The agent edits content (copy, schema, FAQ blocks, Google profile posts). It will not change your design, delete pages, change pricing, or post negative content. Every change is logged in your activity feed. You can revert any change by emailing support — we keep before/after snapshots for 90 days.

Because the agent works with third-party platforms (WordPress, Google, etc.), we cannot guarantee 100% success on every edit. When a change fails we tell you and either retry, or hand you the snippet to paste yourself.

Acceptable use

Don't use Chantry to misrepresent a business you don't own, to publish misleading or illegal content, to reverse-engineer or resell the service, or to attempt to break it. We can suspend accounts that do.

Liability

Chantry is provided "as is". We do not guarantee specific rankings, lead volumes, or revenue outcomes — those depend on many factors outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
